Press meetings are held under NCCoPP to highlight specific events as well as to disseminate information to the general public. The press meetings are usually covered by the regional language press, which enables a wider audience to understand the project and participate in CFC phase-out activities.

The press hand-outs provide journalists with background information on the ozone layer, ozone depletion, the Indian scenario and the aims and objectives of NCCoPP.
Press meetings have been held to promote various activities such as the equipment support scheme, dealers’ meetings and to launch the poster publicizing best servicing practices.
