Ozone Cell is established under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for undertaking activities relating to implementation of Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol . Empowered Steering Committee (ESC) created in the MOEF with the approval of Cabinet is the apex body to take policy decisions with Secretary (E&F) as chairperson .
